A photo, and the receipt files itself

Bookkeeping for a creator who is never in one country long enough to do it

1photo per receipt, and nothing else to doThe whole input is a photo sent to a chat.
4fields captured off every receiptCategory, date, amount, and the card it was paid on.
Instantlyfiled, instead of sorted at tax timeThe row and the file land as the photo is sent.

A content creator who travels for work and does her own books in between trips.

What was wrong

Receipts piled up in several currencies and a dozen places. She could not tell what counted as deductible for her kind of work, so her accountant got a mess once a year and she paid for the sorting.

What we found

She did not want accounting software. She wanted to stop thinking about it. The only moment she would ever act is the moment the receipt is in her hand.

What we built

  • A photo sent to a chat, which is the whole job
  • An agent that reads it, converts the currency, and knows her line of work
  • Every receipt filed to Drive, every line written to one spreadsheet

What changed

Nothing piles up now. Date, amount, card and category get recorded as she goes, already converted. At tax time she sends her accountant one folder and one sheet instead of a year of photos.

What they own now

Her spreadsheet, her Drive, her receipts. The agent writes into her accounts, not ours.
