A tourism company in South Korea. It runs its own coaches, and it also drives work for other tour operators.
What was wrong
The director sent the job details to his assistant. She wrote every tax invoice out by hand. There are a lot of numbers on one, so mistakes got through. Some costs already have tax in them and some do not, which made it harder again.
What we found
Nobody could see the invoices in one place. The director did not know what had gone out, or what had been paid, until he asked her.
What we built
- A dashboard showing every invoice, pending or paid
- A photo of the job sheet, turned into a finished tax invoice
- The invoice emailed out on its own, with the tax worked out correctly
What changed
She takes a photo and the invoice goes. No handwriting, no adding up, and no guessing which costs already had tax in them. The staff can see the work, and paid or unpaid is on the screen.
What they own now
The platform, the data, and the invoices going out under their own name.
