Bon Labs is the AI department for firms in Singapore and Australia that do not have one and do not want to spend four months hiring one. Most firms adopting AI end up renting it: a vendor builds something, invoices monthly, and keeps the knowledge of how it works. When the contract ends, the capability leaves with them. We think that is backwards.
So we work the other way around. We find the work costing you most, build the system that replaces it, and train your people to run it without us. Everything is built in your own accounts, in your real work, with your data. Your team is in the room while it is built, not handed a manual afterwards. At the end you keep the repositories, the prompts, the agents and, more to the point, the people who can build the next one.
How we work
Four ways in, same product at different intensity. A 90-minute working session builds one workflow live on your screen for S$500. The AI Diagnostic puts a real monthly cost against every process worth changing and hands you the payback maths, in seven to ten working days. The Fractional AI Team is the core offer: your AI department, monthly, shipping one system live a month and reporting the return against a baseline we set on day one. The 90-Day Program takes a team from AI-aware to AI-native. Everything you spend on the smaller ones is credited forward into the larger.
The return is guaranteed in writing. Inside twelve months, what we build returns at least what you paid us, measured on your own P&L against the Diagnostic baseline. If it has not, we keep building at no charge until it does.
What we do not do
We are not an outsourced development shop, we do not sell a platform or a licence, and we do not run a course. Nothing is delivered as a black box, because a black box is the thing we are getting you out of. Every account we open is in your name and billed to you, so if Bon stopped tomorrow, everything we shipped keeps running and someone in your building can change it.
Who it is for
Firms doing around S$5M and up, with demand growing, no AI department, and no appetite to solve that by hiring one. Usually consulting, accounting, legal, agency and similar professional services. Your people almost certainly use AI already and build their own tools with it; if the P&L has not moved anyway, that is the gap we close.
Who we are
Bon Labs was founded by Eugene Zhang, with Joanna You and Erik Holmgren as founding partners. Eugene built decision analytics for banks before this; Erik is an accountant, ex-KPMG; Joanna runs hospitality and operations. YQ, who founded the AI frontier lab Kairo Labs and leads one of Singapore's largest AI communities, is the specialist the three of them route to. We run our own company on the same systems we install, for under S$200 a month, which is where most of the method comes from.
The work is on this site with its sources printed under it: eight builds across Australia, Sweden, Switzerland, Singapore and the Middle East. The first conversation is a call, not a pitch deck.
